Weekly classes

Katie teaches a weekly yoga class at Wild Studio in Philip, ACT.   

Called Wild Earth, the class is a beautiful 90 minute restorative yoga class

Katie of Durga Mindfulness is passionate about mantras and the benefits they can bring to your life, having not only studied the practices extensively in India, she chants mantra every day in her own practice.  In The Mantra Lab series, she will explore a number of ancient mantras so you can deepen your practice and connect to the history of yoga.  This is open to yoga teachers and students looking to delve into these timeless practices.  

Our next Mantra Lab will focus on the Medicine Buddha mantra, or Bhaiśajyaguru.  As the name suggests, this mantra is connected with healing. In times of pain, sickness, or stress, for you or someone you love, you can chant the sacred Medicine Buddha meditation for healing. 


In this workshop, we will:

  • learn about the practice of mantra in yoga,
  • talk about the origins of the Medicine Buddha Mantra, understand how and when it can be chanted and the benefits it can bring to you, and
  • slowly break the mantra down to learn it in Sanskrit, and repeat the mantra together 108 times. Divine!

It is back!  Sound - Serenity - Soma - the Winter edition!  Full moon, restorative yoga, and sacred sound in a cosy warm studio.   In another magical collaboration, Katie from @katie_durgamindfulness and Clare from @lunaelementswellness are offering an evening of complete rest and relaxation at Wild Studio - a two and a half hour blissful

It is back!  Sound - Serenity - Soma - the Winter edition!  Full moon, restorative yoga, and sacred sound in a cosy warm studio.   In another magical collaboration, Katie from @katie_durgamindfulness and Clare from @lunaelementswellness are offering an evening of complete rest and relaxation at Wild Studio - a two and a half hour blissful journey of restorative yoga and sound healing under the radiance of the August full moon.  


Allow the combination of these healing practices to deeply replenish your body, mind and spirit for a glorious 2.5 hours.  Your body will gently release, your mind will quieten as the vibrations, frequencies and rhythms of sound will wash over you -  a blissful soundscape complementing your restorative yoga journey.
